The problem I have is that my headphones (which are similar to yours) have a "Headphones" output and a "Headset" output, and for whatever reason, when using discord (which uses the headset output), it completely disables the Headphones output ...I have reinstalled, reset settings, changed listening pos, tried a sound card, tried a usb sound card. I even tried stream through NoMachine using it's audio. I have yet to try Linux, if FFXIV works on it. The only fix is to restart the game.
