I use the LHB often with Bolt gems (99 Arc build),but any time I use it outside of an Arcane build,it's damage is ludicrous,with 50 STR 50 SKL and shit gems,it hits like a motherfucker,if you went into Pthumeru and got some quality gems,the thing would be monstrous.All in all,I personally wouldn't call anything 'noob',but I honestly don't blame ...The holy blade is better for stuns 2h IMO, but the Axe has two circular sweeping attacks that are just so helpful at keeping strong enemies away. The 2h r2 charge for the Axe is a double spin with massive damage and knock back which is fantastic, such a hard choice man. In the end ludwigs surpasses.

You're basically asking why it's the Meme Blade. Low skill ceiling, but effective. The thrust attacks are useful in a variety of situations but it only becomes very strong with end game blunt gems. Cleaver + 40% damage transform attacks are simply the smartest way to play.Either one will give you range, scale well with skill and burial will get a boost from your strength score. The Kirkhammer and Ludwig's are both weaker, but their thrust damage may work out better, since not as many enemies are weak to the Boom Hammer's blunt damage.
